Georgii Zhukov is one of the symbols of victory in the Great Patriotic War. The Order of the Great Patriotic War is one of the country's most revered awards, a symbol of courage, bravery and heroism of the Soviet people. It is this order that serves as the prototype for the architectural design of the station. The red star, white frame and golden rays are intertwined, turning into obelisks of glory. The victorious warriors stood in the parade line. Dark side walls, personifying the tragedy of war, visually expand the space. Light plays an important role in the architecture of the station. General lighting is created by reflected light, the sources of which are hidden behind the side longitudinal cornices and the bases of the stars - the capitals of the columns. Subtle beams of golden light create a geometric light pattern on the ceiling. The ruby light of the glass sections of the columns gives a special solemnity to the interior.

The relation to military topics is represented by a uniform element in the form of a decorative pattern resembling contrast ribbon bars. The pattern is used in the interior (on the walls) and paving of the station. The main dimensional element is a column of various size superellipse section, which is also shown both in exterior and in interior. The main solution is to proactively expand the park area into the area adjacent to the metro pavilions, by connecting the Oktyabrskoye Radiopole Forest and the Moskva River embankment with a promenade.

The station design is based on a consistent repetition of round sectors that make up the column that frame the platform. They combine an architectural element, engineering systems (ventilation) and a light source. Columns remind of various telescopic devices and products - antennas, mechanical "legs" of construction or space vehicles. It is a dedication to the mechanistic, retro-futuristic beauty of Moscow underground. Blue, red and silver make up the palette of the project. The prevailing blue on the platform, combined with red, lends the space a sporty vitality. The entire design of the station is based on the repetition of a single element - a thin aluminum tube. From the walls of the underground vestibule along the escalators, it descends onto the columns of the platform and turns into a giant pipe of the underground station.

The design idea of the station was formed under the influence of the "spirit of the place " of Marshalа Zhukovа Avenue and the surrounding areas of the Moscow North-West administrative district. High-rise residential buildings, dynamic traffic, lights from cars, houses, lanterns-all this sets the mood of grandeur and grandeur combined with urban romance, which we lay in our concept. Thin red metal structures of pavilions create a local color accent and are a reference to the district's iconic object – the Zhivopisniy bridge. The coloristic solution of the underground part of the complex is based on the contrast of white and black, the play of light. Combining materials of calm tones with a bold color accent in the pavilion designs, we get a solemn, bright and modern interior. The theme of dynamics is the main one in sub-street passages and lobbies.

The platform will be presented in the form of a symbolic Boulevard, typical of the urban structure of Moscow, and the "sky" is created on the ceiling due to lighting: it can be seen through columns stylized as tree crowns. Light design elements help us implement the concept that has become traditional for the Metropolitan metro: the ceiling above the platform is identified with the sky, the floor – with the earth. The station pavilion is a park arch made of trees, which invites you to switch from a real street Boulevard to a "symbolic" one. The warm lighting of the lobby arch allows the station to remain bright even in the evening. The tunnel of "tree crowns" - columns of a characteristic silhouette on the platform-in addition to decorative purposes also emphasizes the direction of movement of passengers and serves the purpose of intuitive navigation.

Elegant, light, contemporary, not-superfluous and with clear navigability and ease of use, signified by clean lines, transparency, intuitive visual guidance for the users. This new station is regarded as the modern additions to the Moscow Metro Network. This type of stations are seen as the next generation of stations in Moscow. Designed to make the transportation experience comfortable, pleasant and safe, we employ state of the art software and design techniques to excite the senses and to give a multitude of well organised information to the users. The lighting is developed to enrich the environment and bring a much needed sense of orientation and simplicity in navigating the spaces. Changing lighting conditions inform the travellers of the impending arrival of the trains and allows them to prepare to board and a dynamic system of light temperatures is envisaged to further guide people in an intuitive way by enhancing the senses. The platform is the focus of our design approach. The series of columns are developed as instances of the same form moving through space.

The design concept presupposes the integrity of architectural and artistic vision: the outer pavilion and the platform hall are united by geometric theme of the cone, which evokes the most unexpected associations - from an ice cream cone to a space rocket nozzle. The ground pavilion is a cone, positioned onto its side, with a rounded top and an entrance portal at the base. It is made of precast concrete, treated with a protective compound and painted white. In the interior, however, the suite of cones placed on their tops, follows the rhythm of the supporting columns. Their axes are alternately inclined to one or the other side of the platform. From above, the cone-shaped volumes are cut-off - as a result, round luminous surfaces are formed, which are responsible for the light direction, that invokes the Dushkin’s Kropotkinskaya». This theme is reinforced through ceiling projections of the cone-lamps. The interior is designed in three main colour and texture solutions - white plaster, dark gray paint and a light gray floor made of Mansurovsky granite.

The starry sky is one of the most beautiful natural phenomena that for centuries less industrial civilizations were able to observe. The sky has always been a coordinate system, and inspiration, and a dream. The design is based on visual contrast and intended to create a wow-effect while entering the platform. The dark arched ceiling and spotlights create effects of a “starry sky” and space diving. Minimalist decor allows focusing on the impression instead of visual intensity. In lobbies spotlights arranged in constellations forms as maps of the Northern and Southern sky. Color accents of lobbies are provided by wall panels with a “polar light” pattern.

Using a monochrome palette, a concise and interesting design of the station will be created with a light romantic mood, which is felt during walks along Moscow's boulevards and parks. The commonality of materials in different textures and shades helps us achieve the effect of a single, stylish and modern space. Entrance pavilions are light transparent volumes. Thin sloping columns-trunks "grow" from a wide plinth-bench and support a slightly sloped roof. The dark ceiling made of aluminum panels with built-in rectangular lamps depicts various gaps in the sky through the foliage of trees. The theme of inclined columns-trunks is continued in the lining of the walls of underground passages and lobbies. The dark granite floor is inlaid with contrasting light granite tiles, which also creates the feeling of falling sunlight breaking through the dense crowns of trees. The platform hall reflects the idea of the Boulevard as much as possible.
